LG has officially launched its OLED evo AI C6 television series in Mexico, aimed at consumers looking to upgrade their home entertainment setups ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The new lineup is currently available exclusively through LG’s official online store in the country.

The C6 series introduces significant upgrades to LG’s mid-range OLED offering, headlined by the new α11 AI 4K Gen3 processor. LG claims this chip allows the screen to be 3.2 times brighter than previous models, utilizing a specialized light-control architecture to enhance visual clarity and texture.

AI integration and gaming performance

Beyond picture quality, the television series marks a push into generative AI integration. Owners can access Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot directly through the TV’s interface, allowing for AI-assisted searches and personalized content recommendations via the 'Concierge AI' feature. The system also employs AI to remaster audio in real-time, ensuring dialogue remains audible over background noise without manual volume adjustments.

Gamers are a primary target for the new hardware, with the C6 series offering a native 120 Hz refresh rate that boosts to 165 Hz in Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) mode. The panels include support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, alongside a 0.1-millisecond response time to reduce input lag during high-speed gameplay.

Durability features have also been expanded. LG has implemented a 'quadruple protection' system that includes surge protection for semiconductors and moisture-resistant coatings for internal chipsets. According to the manufacturer, these measures are designed to protect the television from electrical spikes and environmental damage.

LG has confirmed pricing for the two initial models available in Mexico: the 65-inch version is priced at 29,999 pesos, while the 77-inch unit retails for 44,999 pesos. While these sizes are the first to hit the market, the company plans to expand availability to authorized retailers in the coming months, with sizes ranging from 42 to 83 inches expected to follow.
