Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least 11 Palestinians on Tuesday, including two children, according to reports from Al Jazeera.

Attacks in northern Gaza and Gaza City targeted vehicles and crowded areas, marking the latest casualties since the October 10 ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defence, stated that four people died in a strike targeting a police vehicle in Gaza City. The strike, which killed a three-year and a 14-year-old, also left at least nine bystanders wounded, some critically, according to the Gaza Ministry of Interior.

Israeli warplanes targeted the vehicle in the city center, causing several deaths and injuries, the Ministry of Interior reported.

Strikes hit refugee camp

In the northern Beit Lahiya area, Israeli fire killed another individual earlier in the day, according to Basal.

Later Tuesday evening, Israeli strikes hit near an intersection in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City. Medics at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed receiving five bodies from an Israeli drone bombing involving two missiles.

The strike hit near a cafe and wounded several people, Reuters reported.

Since the ceasefire began last October, Israeli forces have killed nearly 760 Palestinians in the territory, according to Al Jazeera.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 2,111 Palestinians have been injured in Israeli attacks since the truce was announced. A total of 72,336 people have been killed by Israeli forces since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.
