Alon-Lee Green, the National Director for Standing Together, is calling for a fundamental shift in the Israeli-Palestinian paradigm toward diplomacy and equality, according to a report by France 24.
Speaking in an interview with Stuart Norval, Green argued that millions of Palestinians have lived under Israeli military rule for decades. He criticized ongoing military campaigns, describing them as strategically ineffective and morally corrosive.
Green also addressed new controversial legislation regarding the death penalty. He labeled the law "a discriminative, racist, and apartheid law" that targets Palestinians while excluding Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
A call for diplomacy
Green is advocating for a new approach rooted in the end of the occupation. He suggested that current political instruments are being used to maintain a system of inequality.
The activist's position seeks to replace military-led strategies with a framework based on diplomatic engagement and equal rights for all inhabitants of the region.
