Chanel names Pedro Pascal as new global ambassador

French fashion house Chanel officially named Chilean actor Pedro Pascal as its new global ambassador on Monday. The announcement arrived via social media and digital platforms, confirming the actor's new role with the luxury brand.

Chanel shared the news through Instagram stories using a graphic that stated, “Chanel is pleased to announce Pedro Pascal as ambassador of the house.”

Pascal also shared the news on his own Instagram account. He posted a video from the campaign featuring a photo booth sequence, captioned with “Je t’aime @matthieu_blazy” in reference to the brand's creative director.

A growing partnership

The partnership follows several recent public appearances by Pascal linked to the maison. The actor attended the Chanel Spring-Summer 2026 fashion show in Paris and wore a custom look from the brand at the most recent Academy Awards.

In a press release issued by Chanel, Pascal praised the brand's current direction. “I love Matthieu's vision, which I find powerful, elegant and incredibly close,” Pascal said regarding creative director Matthieu Blazy.

Blazy expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment. “Pedro is a wonderful person and an incredible actor,” Blazy stated, highlighting the actor's addition to the firm.

The appointment coincides with a period of massive international visibility for Pascal. The actor has recently headlined major productions includingThe Last of UsandThe Mandalorian.
