Chery Group’s premium brand, Lepas, will debut two new electric vehicle models, the L6 BEV and L4 BEV, at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, according to a report by latercera.com.
The unveiling marks the start of an international offensive in the premium electric mobility segment. These new models join the existing L8 in a lineup designed to balance design, technology, and functionality.
Developed under the 'Leopard Aesthetics' concept, the vehicles focus on contemporary sophistication. The brand aims to provide intelligent interiors and a precise driving experience tailored for various global markets.
Global expansion strategy
The Beijing debut follows a series of international moves started in April. After presenting its design DNA at Milan Design Week, Lepas is now strengthening its global positioning through real-world testing and the development of strategic partner networks, the outlet reported.
The brand's next major milestone will take place in Wuhu, the headquarters of the Chery Group. There, the company will host the 2026 International Business Summit and its first Global Partners Conference to connect distributors and suppliers.
Lepas plans to leverage Chery’s massive global footprint, which spans more than 130 countries and serves over 19 million users. This infrastructure will support a scalable expansion of the brand's premium electric offerings.
Beyond hardware, the company is building an ecosystem of digital solutions and intelligent assistants. The goal is to integrate technology and design into a seamless user experience.
The brand also confirmed its arrival in Chile during the second half of the year. The Chilean launch will feature three multi-energy SUVs and a network of 25 showrooms, with a commercial target of reaching 1,000 units in its first year and a 3% market share in the medium term, according to latercera.com.
