Television personality Rafael Araneda is set to return to US screens after a year-long hiatus. The veteran host will lead the new reality series "Primeras Citas," a primetime program focused on helping contestants find their ideal match.

Araneda previously hosted the Univision program "Enamorándonos," which concluded its run in May of last year. While the show was cancelled, Araneda remained under contract with the network despite being off-screen for nearly 12 months.

A fresh start on Unimás

The host confirmed the new project through his social media channels. He expressed enthusiasm about returning to the network, stating, "Returning to Unimás feels like coming home, but with a completely renewed energy."

This new venture marks a shift for the presenter, as he will carry the production as a solo host. The show aims to capture the primetime audience by centering on the dynamics of modern dating.

Outside of his US television work, Araneda remains a prominent figure in Latin American media. He was recently confirmed to co-host the Viña del Mar Festival alongside Karen Doggenweiler through 2028. Additionally, he continues his duties as a host for the radio program "Cuéntamelo todo" on Radio Pudahuel.
